Dominant tectonic structure to the east of Tymfi, with a large vertical displacement, which contributed to the morphological evolution of the area. A normal fault with a N-S direction, juxtaposes limestones with flysch rocks. Estimated displacement 400 metres. The presence of the fault contributed to the abrupt morphological lowering of the area.
