Astracas Fault Panorama

The Astraka fault, along with the Konitsa fault with a NE-SW direction, form one of the main fault systems affecting the area. It is a normal fault with a displacement of 300 metres which contributed to the morphological depression in Papingo. Due to this fault, the vertical cliffs to the east of Papingo were created, which were sculpted by water and wind.
