On the road from Kapesovo to Tsepelovo, we encounter the junction leading to the Monastery of Rogovos. From the monastery, a short walk of a few metres leads us to a clearing with an impressive panoramic view of the gorge. In addition to the aesthetic dimension, the results of the natural processes that shaped the area are evident. The gorge at Mikri Vikaki is a miniature version of the Vikos Gorge, which developed from rapid vertical river erosion along fault lines trending Northeast-Southwest.
