was successfully held in
\n10-14\/9\/2019 period in Vikos-Aoos Geopark<\/strong> the multi-day educational
\nvisit of 45 students <\/strong>with their professors from the University
\nPrague Life Sciences<\/strong> (Czech Republic) (Czech University of Life Sciences Prague). <\/p>\n

The visit took place within the framework of Memorandum
\nCooperation<\/strong> which has been signed between the Prague University<\/strong>
\nand of the EPIRUS SA<\/strong>, as the managing body of the Vikos-Aoos Geopark and
\nconcerns cooperation in the organisation of the summer school entitled \u00abEcology
\nmountains and conservation\u00bb<\/strong> Mountain Ecology and Conservation
\nwhich focuses on
\ntopics of ecology, conservation, management, biodiversity and geodiversity
\nof the extensive mountain complexes, such as the Vikos-Aoos Geopark. <\/p>\n

The 45 students in the small space
\nwho remained in our area crossed the Aoos gorge in two
\nparallel mountaineering routes, ascended Drakolimni, climbed
\nStrataca, they crossed the Vikos Gorge and walked in its canyon.

\nthey were near them, providing information and knowledge about geology, the
\nbiodiversity and the rich history of the Geopark as part of the Global
\nGeoparks <\/strong>UNESCO.<\/strong><\/p>\n
