(Photo 6.1) At the spring's location, the thickness of the conglomerate significantly decreases, and the transitional layers and Eocene limestones appear. Through faults and fractures, in the uppermost part of the anticline, the groundwater finds an outlet to the surface. Monitoring of the spring's diet revealed a complex feeding mechanism. The aquifer is composed of the limestones of the northeastern limb of the anticline of Mount Douskos.
